Hyderabad: Telangana Medical Committee found serious violations at the Sharath Heart Center in Suryapet.
The examination was conducted after complaints of malfeasance at the clinic. A group of TGMC members conducted a raid during which members discovered that technician Vanam Sharath Chandra had a heart scan and published a report in the name of a doctor, claiming to be a doctor.
The notice has been sent to the physician, whose name is registered and acts upon receipt of the response on the recommendation of the Ethics Committee.
There are no qualified cardiologists who provide services. Similar complaints have been received against other heart centers, and technicians have performed a heart scan without proper doctors, TGMC officials said.
