A 91-year-old man has been charged with stabbing his 88-year-old wife, which has been released on bail in Kerala High Court. Thevan, a petitioner, lives with his wife Kunjali, because she doubts her loyalty, which is her tension. The confrontation arrived on March 21, when Thevan allegedly attacked Kunjali with a knife, causing her to be seriously injured. He was arrested on the same day and has been in judicial detention since then. Considering Thevan’s bail request, PV Justice Kunhikrishnan resolved the case in unusual legal reasoning and lyrical reflection.

The court said in an order on April 10: “I don’t want any further discussion on this. Let Thevan live happily with Kunjali, his wife at their age of 88. Let them have a happy life. Her only strength will be Thevan, 91.
Acknowledging the pain caused, the court also chose to emphasize the lasting bond between the couple. “Thevan and Kunjali should know that age does not darken the light of love, it only makes it glow. Kunjali is 88 years old and even loves her husband now, which is why she closely follows her 91-year-old husband. As we get older, as we get older, we love each other, our love for each other is only deep,” the court said.
