Fans react after MS Dhoni fell again in CSK vs KKR clash, registering their minimum score in Chepauk

Fans eagerly wait for MS Dhoni to return to the crease, but it disappointed him and shocked everyone as Narine quickly fired him.

The 2025 IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders caused a disaster for CSK as they collapsed 75 times and lost 8 wickets in a jaw-dropping performance. Sunil Narine got a big blow by sending MS Dhoni back to the pavilion, which was just one run, which put high hopes on fans who were disappointed with the veteran.

Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway also fell cheaply before Dhoni exited, failing to lay a solid foundation. Despite Vijay Shankar’s attempt to save the situation, he ended up suffering from increasing pressure on the victims. Ravindra Jadeja also went out without scoring, which only added to Chennai’s plight. The bowling lineup of Kolkata, led by Narine, Varun Chakravarthy and Harshit Rana, completely dominated the game.

Fans eagerly wait for MS Dhoni to return to the crease, but it disappointed him and shocked everyone as Narine quickly fired him. Social media, like frustrated fans, one user even quipped, “MS Dhoni, please return to Tihar Prison with a struggling franchise.”

This is the fans’ reaction to the firing

After fans were heartbroken, Navjot Singh Sidhu captured the disappointment concisely with a classic line. Commenting on Dhoni’s performance, Sidhu said, “Khoda Pahad Nikli Chuhiya”, which translates to “Digging a mountain can only find mice”. This analogy effectively conveys the idea that expectations surrounding Dhoni’s regression do not match the actual results.

The Kolkata Knight Riders achieved a huge victory in just 10.1 races, successfully chasing a total of 104 runs. On the other hand, the Chennai Super King suffered a major setback when recording his lowest total of IPLs at home, managing only 103 runs to lose nine wickets in 20 games.
