Nalgonda: Tax Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy accused the BRS of relying on false propaganda to achieve its political survival. He said the earlier BRS government abused Rs 10,52 crore through the Ministry of Information and Public Relations to mislead people for their political interests during their 10-year rule.
After losing power, Srinivas Reddy continued to slander the Congressional administration through various means to damage his image.
Srinivas Reddy said the Congressional administration’s commitments have implemented welfare and development plans over the past decade and a half, which will continue for the rest of its term.
He said the state government paid Rs 650 crore per month as interest on the BRS government’s loan of Rs 819 crore. He added: “BRS leaders plundered public funds in the name of the Kaleshwaram Lift irrigation program, calling it “the eighth miracle of the world” and put Telangana in debt. Overcoming financial austerity, the Congressional administration is fulfilling its polls.
He said the Congressional administration aims to develop the backward Ashwaraopet region in all aspects. During the Congressional administration of Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy, electrification of all Thandas and villages was completed.
Srinivas Reddy said the BRS government operates residential schools in abandoned poultry farms and rice mills. The Congressional government has built state-of-the-art buildings for the international infrastructure of young Indian comprehensive schools. It pointed out that beauty and dietary expenses have been levied on students in state-owned hotels and residential schools.
