April 9 marks the first anniversary of RM Veerappan (RMV), one of the strong leaders of AIADMK, who served in the cabinets of party founder MG Ramachandran and his successor Jayalalithaa. In the preview video of the documentary RMV: King Manufacturer, Tamil movie superstar Rajinikanth recalls how his speech on the movie’s features influences the political journey of RMV. “The firing of RMV from her cabinet is one of the reasons I’m speaking out to the government,” Rajinikanth said in the video.

Responsible for election work

Since 1991, a series of reports have been elaborated on the roller coaster political journey with Jayalalithaa’s Rlmv in 1995. In the 1991 Congress elections, RMV was denied the opportunity to participate in the competition. Jayalalithaa asked him to carry out the election work. However, after the AIADMK won, he was appointed Minister of Education. Later, he won the Bag Agreement, evacuated by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who retained Bargur, the second seat she attended.

But, amid the controversy at the Madras Christian Academy, he began brewing his remarks about minority rights for him. The Chief Minister divested the RMV of the education portfolio and held him responsible for the welfare of the backward class. In May 1992, she evacuated him from work. A year later, he returned to the cabinet as Food Minister.

However, on July 14, 1995, Rajinikanth caused controversy at an event to celebrate the 100-day performance of his film Baasha. This happened the day before the minister’s long-term plan to travel to the United States, which was released under the banner of RMV’s Sathya movie, where he shared Daisy with the actors. Rajinikanth hits on a rural bomb bomb of Chennai film director Mani Ratnam. According to a Hindu report, he regretted the spread of bomb culture in Tamil Nadu and urged the state government to introduce a legislation to take it root.

Seek an explanation

RMV Oru Thondar (RMV, Worker) is a biography of Ranimynthan, detailing the incident. The angry Jayalalithaa summoned the RMV and asked him to explain. The biographer recalls Jayalalithaa asking RMV on the intercom, “How could you stay silent when Rajini speaks, even though he visited her in the Chief Minister’s Office. Although RMV believes that he is saying his idea is in Rajinikanth’s character, Jayalalithaa is not convinced. Instead, she accused him of “enjoying” DiaTribes for her. RMV understands why he will come. However, he left the United States as planned. Meanwhile, protests broke out in AIADMK to object to his “failure” to refute Rajinikanth’s comments.

It is worth noting that the party organ Namathu Mgr questioned his “silence”, while Rajinikanth “indirectly” criticized the chief minister. The article accused RMV of “betrayal” against the party general secretary and said that even ordinary AIADMK workers would protest the remarks. He should protest the raising of questions at the film event and deny allegations against the government, he is part of him. According to Hindu, he should also explain to the audience the Chief Minister’s steps to contain the bomb explosion.

Provide Exit

The RMV abroad was quickly clarified, reaffirming his loyalty to Jayalalithaa and willing to resign if she wanted to. The order issued subsequently transferred his portfolio to another minister on his absence brow. The matter was rested when RMV returned home and resumed his role as Food Minister. But when Raginikant met him, the problem surfaced again.

There was a lot of meaning at the conference because a poll was published that day, which showed strong support for movie stars if he chose to go into politics. According to Hindus, the discussion has sparked expectations that plans to build a common political platform for Rajinikanth and RMV. On September 1, 1995, Jayalalithaa removed two ministers, including RMV, from her cabinet.

Rajinikanth issued a statement that took on everything that happened to the former minister and apologized to him and his supporters. He said he did not regret his speech at the movie event, but later he realized that he shouldn’t do it in front of RMV. He also explained that his meeting with RMV was a polite call after returning from the United States.

Later, RMV attended Karaikudi’s Anna’s birthday meeting, although his name was not on the speaker’s list. Many fans of Rajinikanth attended the conference and RMV was forced to mention the actors. A few days later, he was expelled from the AIADMK.

RMV determined to stay in public life and established Kazhagam mgr on October 17, 1995. But the party has not achieved any success.
