The Ajith Kumar movie beats the game changer to become the fourth highest-grossing Indian movie in 2025.

Ajith Kumar’s good ugly ugliness surpasses Ram Charan’s game changer and becomes the fourth high-end Indian movie of 2025, second only to Vicky Kaushal’s chhaava, Mohanlal’s L2: empuraan: empuraan and venkatesh’s sankranthiki vasthunam.
Day 7 of the box office collection of good or bad ugly
The Tamil action comedy Bad Eugly, titled Ajith Kumar, is thriving at the box office since its release on April 10. The film surpassed Pradeep ranganathan-starrer Comey Drama Dragon and became the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2025 in the first five days. Now, the Telugu political action thriller of Ram Charan, Kiara Advani and Shankar has beaten Ram Charan, Kiara Advani and Shankar to become the fourth highest-grossing Indian movie this year.
In the first six days, Ajith Kumar’s film received a network of Rs 1,083 crore in India, with a global box office revenue of Rs 1.8 crore. On the seventh day, action comedy collected a network of Rs 6 crore in India, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. Add to the collection outside Shanghai, the ugly ugly earned over Rs 186 crore worldwide in the first week. This means the latest Tamil blockbuster, hosted by Adhik Ravicandran, has surpassed Game Changer, which won the box office of Rs 18.5 billion worldwide, becoming the fourth largest Indian movie of 2025.
The three most-grossing Indian movies this year are the Hindi-era action drama Chhaava, the Malayalam action thriller L2 Empuraan and the Telugu action comedy Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Chhaava, L2: Empuraan and Sankranthiki Vasthunam had box offices of Rs 806 crore, Rs 265 crore and Rs 255 crore globally, respectively.
In addition to Ajith Kumar, the good and bad are also ugly, including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, and Sunil Sayaji Shinde as guest appearances.
Director Adhik Ravicandran is Ajith Kumar’s second release this year. He used to be seen in the action thriller Vidaamuyarchi, which reappeared in February 2025. The director of Magizh Thirumeni, who also starred Trisha Krishnan as the leading lady, was a commercial failure as its global budget of Rs 135.65 crore violated the Rs 20 billion.
