“The Army Chief wakes up at 2:30 am…”: Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif admits that Indian missiles hit Nur Khan Airbase and other locations

Speaking at a public event in Islamabad on Friday, Sharif said he woke up at 2:30 a.m. when Pakistan Army Chief Syed Asim Munir called him. The general told him that India had launched a missile strike on major targets, including Nur Khan Airbase.
Sharif added that the Pakistan Air Force used local technology and modern technology from Chinese jets to deal with the attack. However, he did admit that India’s missiles reached their target.
Shortly after Geo News reported Sharif’s comments, BJP leader Amit Malviya responded. He said Sharif’s recognition proved the “precision and boldness” of India’s military response to the April 22 terrorist attack on Pahargam, with 26 people killed.
Malviya wrote in a sharing article on X: “Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself admitted that General Asim Munir called him at 2:30 am to inform him that India bombed Nur Khan air base and other locations. When the Prime Minister woke up at night, about the scale and accuracy of the operation in the sindoor.”
