The BJP’s politics is mixed, and Congressional politics is national: Jag Reddy

T. Jagga Reddy, TPCC Working Chairman, was held at a press conference held on May 12, 2025 at Gandhi Bhavan.
T. Jagga Reddy, TPCC work chairman, cited former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s leadership, praised her decisive role during the 1971 Indian-Pakistan war and said the BJP is still trying to undermine her contribution to winning the war.
Speaking to Gandhi Bhavan’s reporter on Monday, Reddy said Indira Gandhi’s courage was in discussions, teaching a lesson to Pakistan even in the current India-Pak conflict. He said, “India means Indira”, those days, and even the BJP’s firm Atal Bihari Vajpayee praised her courage to transcend the party and urged the BJP government to put aside political differences in the time of national crisis.
Mr. Reddy recalls Indira Gandhi’s firm position during the 1971 war, especially her refusal to succumb to American pressure, and the world respects her because of the will of the Indian people. He said: “Pakistan had to bow in front of India at that time. The courage of today disappeared.”
He excavated the BJP leaders, and he said the BJP was crying against the Gandhi family more than any real action. “The politics of the BJP are mixed, and the politics of the Congress are national,” he said.
He added: “Parliament is based on national values and history and is ready to answer any provocations, including insults or false statements to the BJP.”
