Peter Beattie, former Queensland Prime Minister, condemned Nuttall’s actions as a profound betrayal of public trust.
Beatty said in 2023.
In his later years, Nuttall spoke openly about the harsh conditions he experienced at the largest security prison in Wolston, Wacol, describing “exactly the same as the worst prisoners.”
His family said their deaths were “devalued.”
They said: “Now is the time for him to rest peacefully.”
