Pakistan senator makes a provocative comment: “Bricks of the New Babri Mosque in Ayodhya…”

Diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan have made their relationship sour after the Pahargam terrorist attacks. Where India has taken considerable action against its neighbors, Pakistan also poses many threats and shuts down its airspace, besides taking other actions. After all this, Pakistani senators made provocative comments that irritated India. The senator made a controversial statement about the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.

Pakistani senator’s statement on the Babri mosque

Senator Palwasha Mohammad Zai Khan issued a statement in the Pakistani parliament that stated that Pakistani soldiers will enter India with the army chief and will build mosques and pray for themselves. Her inflammatory rhetoric has increased the fuel from the fires that have already burned in the Pahalgam attack.

Speaking in the House of Parliament in Pakistan’s House of Lords, Zai Khan asserted: “Pak Army soldiers will lay the first bricks in the new Babri mosque in Ayodhya, and Pakistan Army Chief Asif Munir will recite the first batch of Azans.” Her words further, she said: “We are not wearing bracelets.”

As the situation worsened between the two countries, she did not seem to stop talking to India and inspire religious and national sentiment. She further claimed that Sikh soldiers would not arm Pakistan if there was a conflict with India. “If they threaten Pakistan, let them know that the Sikh army will not attack Pakistan because it is Guru Nanak’s land.”

Provocative speech in Pakistan

However, this is not the first provocative statement that Pakistani political leaders have come. A few days ago, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief double Raval Bhutto-Zardari also increased his anger through his turbulent comments. His statement comes after India suspended the Indus Water Treaty. “The Indus River is ours, it will be ours. Either our water will flow through it, or (their Indians) blood.” His statement was a warning to India after the decision to stop Waters from coming to Pakistan. He also claimed that Pakistan was the true custodian of Indian civilization.

Importantly, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif revealed in an interview that Pakistan has supported terrorist organizations for decades and admitted that it did “dirty work” on behalf of the West.
