The first free cylinder was used under the DeepAM-2 scheme

Vijayawada: Civil Supply Minister Nadendla Manohar has asked officials to quickly deposit subsidies into the accounts of the beneficiaries of the DeepAM-2 program.

The minister held a meeting here on Thursday with representatives of the oil company that provided civil supply to Bhavan. “As part of the Super Six Guarantee, we are fulfilling our commitment to provide three free gas cylinders for every woman every year,” he said.

The oil company caught his attention and the subsidized deposits had technical problems after the tank delivered the beneficiary booked on March 31 to the beneficiary in April.

The Minister advises officials to deposit subsidies immediately into the accounts of such beneficiaries. He said a campaign should be launched to raise more awareness of the DEEPAM-2 program.

He said that so far the first free cylinder has been used under the DeepAM-2 program, and the government has allocated Rs 2684 crore for this.

The beneficiary should first book the cylinder by paying the full price and complete the delivery within 24 hours in urban areas and 48 hours in rural areas. After that, the amount paid within 48 hours will be credited to the beneficiary’s bank account.

The minister said they had the opportunity to book three free cylinders a year in four months. If there are any questions or information errors, they should refer to the 1967 free number as a complaint.

Representatives and officials of IOC, HPC, BPC attended the meeting, and Civil Supplies Commissioner Saurabh Gaur, Md Manazir Jilani Manazir Jilani.
