The cooperative movement has been in chaos due to no adjustment of the law: Shaa

Alliance Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that the cooperation movement is still in chaos in the country as the law did not adjust accordingly earlier. Shah said at the state-level cooperation meeting held in Bhopal that Madhya Pradesh has many possibilities in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and cooperation.

The minister added that a lot of work needs to be done to make the most of these possibilities.

“The cooperative movement has been in chaos as the law has not adjusted accordingly earlier. However, after 75 years of independence, the establishment of the Ministry of Cooperation was to promote the cooperative movement, which has attracted attention.”
Shaa said the previous central government did not think of strengthening the cooperation department.

“The reason for this is that the country has no ministries in the field of cooperatives. After 75 years of independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi established cooperatives,” he said.

“In some states, this movement has gained momentum, and in some places, it has been completely destroyed. The main reason for this is that the law should have changed over time.” Earlier, the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) signed an agreement with the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Dairy Federation to enhance milk production in the state.

The agreement was signed at the cooperation meeting.
