The fifth group of pilgrims set out for Saudi Arabia

Hyderabad: The fifth batch of 287 Haji pilgrims departed from Shamshabad Airport to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday afternoon. The trip was announced by Syed Gulam Afzal Biyabani (Khusro Pasha), chairman of the Telangana Haj committee. He urged the pilgrims to respect the sacredness of the Holy Land and to remain patient and dedicated to the entire journey. He also encouraged young pilgrims to help the older people.
A total of 1,092 pilgrims arrived in Telangana. The next HAJ flight is scheduled for Sunday at 11.25 am. Sajjad Ali, executive of the Pilgrimage Council, greeted the pilgrims and hoped that they would be on a safe journey. Committee members MD Mujeebuddin and MD Layeeq, Minority Welfare officials attended the program.
