Using mobile phones in toilets can lead to various diseases
This habit can cause serious illnesses to be damaged by multiple parts of our body. It has also been noted that we spend most of our time looking at our phones and rolling in the toilet. We don’t realize how dangerous this is to our health. Dr. Kunal Sood, MD, solves this health problem by suggesting some steps to prevent disease caused by using a cell phone and correct posture in the toilet to prevent disease-induced illness.
Dr Kunal Sood said that spending more time on the toilet than needed, coupled with using a cell phone can lead to serious illnesses such as hemorrhoids, also known as stakes, constipation and kidney-related problems. Sitting on the toilet seat for a long time puts constant pressure on the veins around the anus. This is a critical moment for this routine activity, and if people are distracted at the moment, this stress will increase, leading to the disease.
Additionally, some people sit for so long that the toilets start to feel like they are comfortable. However, this can affect the natural intestinal movement of the stomach.
Sitting in the toilet
On his Instagram post, Dr. Kunal listed five ways to prevent hemorrhoids.
– Limit the toilet time to 5–10 minutes where possible.
– Avoid nervousness: Do not force your bowel movements. If you have constipation, consider changing your diet or stool softeners.
– Use appropriate posture: Keep your knees slightly elevated (for example, using a footstool) to promote easier intestinal tract.
– Fiber and Hydration: Ensure a high-fiber diet and sufficient hydration to prevent constipation and defecate easily.
– Set up activities: Avoid sitting for a long time as it increases the risk of hemorrhoids
