The goal of the railway is green

Hyderabad: The Indian Railways plan to convert all offices and equipment into environmentally friendly to reduce pollution. According to the plan, 95% of the 6,609 km wide gauge tracks in the Central Railway (SCR) area electrified 95%, reducing pollution and greatly saving on fuel costs. SCR also plans to switch to modern energy-efficient accessories, especially at small stations.

According to SCR officials, they installed 109 plastic bottle machines on 76 major radio stations in the area to ensure that the plastic bottles are properly handled. Similarly, they set up 23 waste to materials at 22 major sites to deal with biodegradable waste generated at the station. Eighteen such factories are under debugging. 37 sanitary napkin incinerators are available in different places in the area.

With the introduction of biological consignments on trains, railways eliminated the problem of removing human waste directly from trains. It also introduced bioeffect toilets in the new coach to reduce the moisture consumption of the toilet. But people living near the track want the railway to control passengers to dump waste along the route by taking strict actions against them.
