The government demands that Indian troops take severe action against Pakistan…

Foreign Minister Vikram Misri

Foreign Minister Vikram Misri believes Pakistan is responsible for the ceasefire violation, saying that Indian troops have taken strict action against Islamabad for the violation. Confirmed by the violation, he held Pakistan responsible for the escalation of tensions. He also said that this violated the understanding between the two countries. “In the past three hours, there have been repeated violations of the understanding between the directors of the Indian and Pakistan military operations tonight. This is a violation of the understanding earlier today,” Misri said.

He added: “The armed forces responded sufficiently and appropriately to these violations and we have taken notice of these violations very, very seriously.”

MISRI: The Army maintains a strong vigil

The Foreign Minister called on Pakistan to take appropriate steps to resolve violations and to handle the situation with “seriousness and responsibility”. Misri further said: “The armed forces maintained a strong vigil on the situation. They were instructed to strongly deal with any duplication of international border violations and control.”

According to the Foreign Minister, the armed forces maintained a strong vigil on the situation. He also said the troops were “instructed to any repetitive violations along the international borders and any response to the line of control”.

Earlier in the day, Vikram Misri announced that India and Pakistan had agreed to stop all fire and military operations on land, air and sea at 5pm on Saturday. The government said the talks were initiated by Pakistan and held at the director level of military operations (DGMO) between the two countries.

Donald Trump intervenes

Before India’s announcement, U.S. President Donald Trump entered his social media platform, the Truth Society in New Delhi and Islamabad, agreeing to a “full and direct” ceasefire on Saturday night. He wrote in his post: “After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a comprehensive and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations to both countries on their use of common sense and great wisdom. Thank you for your attention on this issue!”
