The head of the fire department faces with KTR

Hyderabad:Fire Services Director-General Y. Nagi Reddy firmly refuted the allegations Monday of the lack of adequate water or respirators for fire tenders deployed in Gulzar Houz during Sunday’s fire operation. He claimed the allegations were misleading and wrong.

“If someone said the water was exhausted during the surgery, I would accept it, but there was no false claim that the tanker was not filled,” said Nagi Reddy.

Nagi Reddy said each fire tender comes with 4,500 liters of water and each tanker can hold up to 9,000 liters.

DG said the department had documented all the evidence of fire bidding, and all fire biddings were filled the night before. He said filling the engine and tanker is a mandatory routine that can prove the video evidence.

Eight respirators were deployed with firefighters.

Nagi Reddy explained the sequence of the incidents, saying the Moghulpura Fire Department received a call in distress at 6.16 am on May 18, and the fire tender arrived at the scene of Gulzar Houz at 6.20 am. He pointed out that the station is only 1 km away from the local area. The fire was under control within two hours.

District fire officers arrived at the scene at 6.20 a.m. According to the state government’s Factcheck_telangana X handle, a total of eight fire bids and three watercraft were deployed.

The house on fire at Gulzar Houz is like a furnace tunnel with only one entrance and exit. Despite these extreme conditions, the fire was put out. Nagi Reddy said the Watchmen and neighbors are witnesses of the effort.
