The head of the State People’s Party said

Vijayendra’s BJP president claims that the Congressional government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is rolling up with multiple allegations of corruption, the highest position in corruption.

Speaking during his speech at Janakrosha Yatre in Bidar City on Friday, Mr Vijayendra claimed that Basavaraj Rayaraddi, economic adviser to Congress MLA and the Chief Minister, said corruption was rampant in the state and that development projects took a seat.

Vijayendra mentioned the recently announced state budget, criticizing Congress for alleged consoling Muslims at the expense of Hindus and claimed that the Sidalama government is systematically discriminating against Muslims in order to provide preferential treatment to Muslims. “The BJP is not anti-Muslim, but we oppose those who put forward pro-Pakistan slogans at the conference,” he said.

Mr Vijayandra, who was in his long term as Chief Minister, contributed to Mr Siddaramaiah to impoverished areas, especially Dalits and farmers, said: “It is not important that the number of people who benefited during his tenure is important.”

He also accused Mr. Siddaramaiah of what he did for the welfare of the state.

Mr Vijayendra said: “Mr Siddaramaiah is trying to politicize the religious issue; the Chief Minister is doing his best to separate the lingayats and veerashaiva.”

Legislators Sharnu Salgar, Shailendra Beldale, Prabhu Chavan, N. RaviKumar and former MP Bhagwant Khuba were present.
