Shanno Begum, 60, has since February, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stopped visiting the Mohalla clinic at her Mohalla clinic near East Delhi and decided to convert the main medical center of Aam Aadmi Party’s AADMI flagship store into Urban Ayushman Ayushman Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (U-Aams). As the process is reshaped, she believes there are rumors that these centers will be closed by the new BJP government.

Last week, Ms. Begum thought of checking out the Mohalla clinic and was surprised to find it open and functional. Ms. Bergm said: “People say the Mohara clinic is closed. That’s why I didn’t come.”

The clinic doctor, who declined to be named, said: “Now, nothing is closed; only the name will change. Even if we close, we will notify patients.”

Mohalla Clinics was scanned after the Mohalla Clinics reported its functional shortcomings after a report by the Comptroller and Auditor General presented at the General Assembly last month.

According to the health department, 1,139 U-AAMs will be established and the existing 553 Mohalla clinics will be upgraded.

However, those running on rental properties will be closed.

Under anonymity, a doctor at the Mohara Clinic in South Delhi said the low pace caused a decline in income for medical staff.

The doctor explained: “Based on the number of patients we see: the doctor’s number of patients is €40, Rs 13 per patient per patient, Rs 10 per patient, and Rs 8 per patient per patient,” the doctor explained.
