An official from the Intelligence Agency (IB) published in Telangana was shot dead in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on Tuesday (22 April 2025). The official was identified as Manish Ranjan, a native of Bihar, on vacation in Kashmir with his family at the time of the attack.
A senior Telangana police officer has been confirmed dead. His family escaped. The incident caused panic among tourists, many of whom spent the summer vacation in Kashmir.
