NTK takes “farmers” as the party’s election symbol: Seeman

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has assigned the symbol of “farmer” to Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), which was designated as a recognized state party after performing in the 2024 Lok Sabha poll.

Party coordinator Seeman announced on Saturday that the ECI has assigned the “farmer” symbol to the party. NTK only participated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections but failed to win any seats. However, it received 8.18% of the vote, slightly higher than one of the criteria set by the ECI, which is considered a state party. The party debated last year’s polls with the “Mike” symbol.
