The traffic jam is greatly alleviated! Uttar Pradesh Bridge is building a new overpass with an estimated cost of Rs 18.36 crore. The overpass was built between Uttar Pradesh National Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) Industrial Site 5 and Savitribai Phule Girls Inter College. The overpass is 400 meters long and the road construction is still underway. The building began two years ago in December 2023.
Reduce traffic congestion
These three lanes of overpass will greatly reduce traffic in the Greater Noida Casna Industrial Zone, Pari Chock and the areas nearby industrial hubs. Traffic is mainly caused by good vehicles including trucks.
“The cost of construction is Rs 18.36 crore, aiming to reduce traffic congestion around the often crowded areas of Paris Chowk and Kasna, promoting these industrial combinations of heavy-duty car sports,” Chief General Manager Rajiv Tyagi said during the construction process.
At UPSIDA’s Export Promotion Industrial Park (EOPI) Site 5, there are several flat factories and industrial units. Trucks carrying raw materials and cargo will redirect them to the overpass after construction. Until now, the vehicle has used the kasna route. This will help relax private vehicle movement on the road, thereby reducing traffic on these traffic hotspots.
Better village connectivity
The overpass was originally scheduled to be completed in March 2025, but the building is still left and will be completed soon, according to officials. After the inauguration, it will relieve traffic congestion and stress in Greater Noida and Pari Chowk’s vehicles. The vehicle will be able to go directly to the Noida Greater Noida motorway via GBU. Many villagers and locals will benefit from the construction of the overpass as it will enhance connectivity in many villages.
