The list of beneficiaries of the Thuruthy apartment building will be reviewed further

The list of beneficiaries of 394 Thuruthy colonial families in West Kochi will be allocated in the newly built apartment building as it has been around for more than a decade.
The project was originally envisioned under Rajiv Awas Yojana, a project designed to make the country slum-free. One survey found that the project aimed to further reduce the number of more than 1,000 potential beneficiaries to 755 during the 2011-12 period. Ultimately, 394 homeless families were found to qualify.
“The project was finalized in December 2013. Kochi is one of the three companies assigned by the state and the only one to implement the project. The beneficiaries will have to develop certificates for rural officials who are truly homeless until they are assigned to them,” TK ASHARAF, Kalvathy Countionor, Kalvathy Copional, Kalvathy Copional.
Construction of the double apartment building has been completed as part of the Thuruthy housing project. Soon, the Chief Minister will open the Twin Towers. As the audit process needs to be completed, the actual allocation of the apartment unit may take more time.
The company built the first tower with an investment of Rs 41.74 crore, while Cochin Smart Mission Ltd. built the second tower for Rs 44.01 crore. The first tower, with 11 stories, has 10,796.42 square feet of building space. There are 109 apartment units of 300 square feet. Each. Each unit includes a dining room living area, a bedroom, a kitchen, a balcony and two bathrooms. Additionally, there are 81 parking spaces on the first and 11 levels, three elevators, lifts and 180 square feet and 800 square feet open areas. It will also have 105 KLD capacity wastewater treatment plants. Preparations have been provided for the ground floor Anganwadi and 14 stores.
The second tower has 13-story 195 apartment units with a total building space of 10,221 square feet. There are 15 apartments per floor, each of which is 350 square feet. Solar panels have been installed in the rooftop public areas. Parking spaces are available for 68 cars and 17 two-wheelers. 100 KLD capacity sewage treatment plants will also be established.
Construction of the sewage treatment plant in the two towers remains to be completed. A factory will also be established for handling 300 kilograms of waste.
