Actor Mukesh Khanna doesn’t like Kapil Sharma and has publicly expressed her feelings about the comedian on public platforms many times. In a recent podcast, Mukesh once again slammed Kapil and explained why he refused to participate in the Kapil Sharma Show in the Mahabharat special episode, which was attended by Gufi Paintal, Puneet Issar, Gajendra Chauhan, Feroz Khan Aka Arjun. Mukesh said in an uncensored podcast with Shardul that the entire film industry respected him and stepped on his feet, but Kapil Sharma was “rude” with him and arrogantly ignored him at the awards ceremony. Kapil and Mukesh’s Tiff met at the awards ceremony many years ago.

Mukesh said, “The reason I do not like Kapil Sharma and why I refused to go on his show, and that story should serve as an eye-opener to everyone, to understand how the film industry really works. At the Gold Awards, I was presented with an award, and Kapil Sharma, who was naya naya paida hua (he was new to the industry) and was doing Comedy Circus, was also being awarded. He came and sat beside me and he didn’t even admit that I sat for about 20 minutes and once his name appeared, he won the award.”

Khanna is known for playing Bhisma Pitahmah in Mahabharat and superhero Shaktimaan, but still lists examples of how Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan greet him, despite having no personal relationships. “I met Amit Ji a lot on the flight. I came back from London and so did he. We didn’t know each other, but he knew we were both actors, so we talked. Hrithik Roshan and I stood on the airport and he met me and told me, ‘That’s right, there are two superheroes standing on this airport.” Mukesh said Kapil Sharma had no etiquette, so he didn’t like him.
