Mr. Agraval described Milania as a man of a kind and capable person. He said the family participated in a religious event organized by relatives of Jamu and then headed to Anatnag for the attack.
Amar Bansal, a local politician and distant relative of the Milaria family, said the religious incident was organized by relatives from Kolkata in Mississippi. “They assumed that the situation in the state improved in the state and decided to organize Bhagwat there. They had planned both religious activities.”
Mr. Bansal learned about Minaria was injured in the attack at about 6 p.m. and three hours later he learned about his death.
When neighbors gathered around the locked Mitalian family, they mourned the death and condemned the attack. The two brothers of Minaria are also residents of the same area, one of whom left Delhi on Tuesday night.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai condemned the attack.
“There are sad news that Raipur died in the timid terrorist attack in Pahalgam. We stood with the victim’s family during this sad hour. Instructions have been given to officials to provide all possible cooperation. This act promised by the terrorists is not enough to condemn, and I cannot pray that the resigned people have provided peace to make the momentum of the family and the efforts of the family!’ He posted on X.
