“Any aggression in Ram Navami”: BJP MP Arun Govil calls on West Bengal government to allow parades

BJP MP told ANI: “I want to call on the West Bengal government to reconsider their decision. There has never been any aggression in such a parade, so why do they think of something like this? I still don’t understand.”
The state government led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee mentioned that the entire country was “echoed with Jai Shri Ram” and should “rethink their decisions”.
Govell said: “Whenever there is a parade of Ram Navami, I’ve seen a lot and participated in them, they’re always peaceful. Ram Mandir was founded 500 years later and the whole country echoes the ‘jai shri ram’. The government should consider their decision.”
Earlier, West Bengal opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari claimed that under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, police denied that he allowed him to celebrate Ram Navami. He added that the West Bengal government, led by Mamata Banerjee, forced them to go to the High Court and the Supreme Court on every issue.
Adhikari said in his speech from Ani: “It is our constitutional right to celebrate our religious festivals, but the police of Mamata Banerjee are stopping us. We are forced to go to the High Court and the Supreme Court on every issue. The rally will be held between 3-5 pm; weapons are not allowed in the rally. Motorcycle rally will not be allowed. Rally must be arranged peacefully with the appropriate police. This rally will be held with 500 people. All rally will take place on the same route on GT Road.
With Ram Navami’s preparations, markets and shops in the Howrah district of West Bengal have been decorated with music festivals with flags and posters, which will be celebrated nationwide on April 6.
