The day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi rebooted Amaravati Capital Cown’s work on Friday, tourists from all over the venue were crowded with tourists. They walked around and clicked on selfies and group photos, especially Amaravatita, unveiled by the Prime Minister, because they wanted to bring memories home. With a joyful mood and a sense of pride, many of them hope that the capital building will be completed in a short period of time.

Workers, on the other hand, are busy demolishing tents, chairs, barricades, lighting and other arrangements made on the site and organizing the area, reminding visitors to witness the busy activities a day ago.

“The government showed commitment by restarting the work,” one visitor said, expressing his happiness for development.

Ten years ago, Mr. Modi laid the foundation for the construction of the capital of Amalawati under the Andhra Pradesh Regional Development Authority (APCRDA). However, the policy shift in YSRCP after taking office in the state in 2019 has caused the work to stagnate.

After the NDA took over the state’s in-strength last year, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his commitment to completing the capital work in a timely manner, with the support of Prime Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and JSP President Pawan Kalyan.

The state government held a sprawling public meeting on Friday, with the prime minister officially restarting the start of the work, with spending around Rs 50,000 crore.

Among those who visited the site on Saturday were many farmers from the Amalawati region who sent the land to CRDA for capital construction. They expressed their hope that the works will be completed in accordance with the commitments of the state.

One farmer said: “Since Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that the capital works will be completed within the next three years and will be dedicated to the country by the Prime Minister, we believe that development in the region, especially the region, is generally possible.”

Meanwhile, the Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana thanked the Prime Minister for restarting the project and provided support to the state government for the construction of Amaravati. He held a review meeting with officials on Saturday to call for the rest of the tender.
