The person in charge of KPCC said

Kerala Congress Committee (KPCC) Chairman K. Sudhakaran said on Saturday that he was not aware of any measures taken by the party’s senior command to replace him as governor, but it was easy to accept any such decision.

Mr Sudhakaran talked to journalists here, saying he had a detailed discussion with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi on the politics of Kerala a day ago. “There is no discussion about deleting me. So you will have to ask them if they want to delete me. I'm very easily accepting any of their decisions. I can only follow it. I can't question it.”

His remarks are reportedly on the basis of reports that MP Anto Antony will replace Mr Sudakaran as the head of the KPCC.

Similar reports on removing Mr. Sudhakaran from the KPCC Chief Post were also a few months ago. At that time, Shashi Tharoor, a member of the Congress Working Committee, strongly supported Mr. Sudhakaran's continued as head of the KPCC and noted that the party had achieved a significant election victory under its leadership.
