Bagalkot, secretary of the Department of Horticulture, Vice-Chancellor of Horticulture and Register of Horticulture Science, has been called by the Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti for his appointment as BJP MJP MLC Hanumanth Nirani, and has not received honors yet.
On Tuesday, Mr Nilani complained that the appointment eight months ago had not been confirmed by the department and threatened to file a motion for privilege against Horticulture Minister SS Mallikarjun at the end of the day.
MP Puttanna raised the question in the Council and said the instructions to humiliate the President of the Council were incorrect and urged Mr. Horati to call the officials.
Mr Mallikarjun said on Tuesday that the document was in the office of the Chief Minister. However, Mr. Horati pointed out that the Speaker BB Chimmankatti, who was appointed to the Board of Directors, was accepted.
Mr. Horati asked House Leaders and Little Irrigation Minister Sn Bose Raju to ensure that it was in the Chairperson’s Chamber at 10.30 am on Thursday.
