The Punjab king clashes with the Mumbai Indians may move from Dharamshala to Wankhede

The IPL 2025 match between the Punjab King and the Mumbai Indians could be transferred from Dharam Sara to Mumbai as security concerns arise from tensions between India and Pakistan are intensifying.
The conflict between the Punjab Kings and the Mumbai Indians in the planned Indian Premier League (IPL) on May 11 may be relocated from Dharamshala to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai after Operation Sindor. In response to India's strike against nine terrorist camps in Pakistan, the Indian government has temporarily closed several airports, including Dharamsala, Chamu, Srinagar, Srinagar, leh, chandigarh, chandigarh, jodhpur, jodhpur, jodhpur, amritsar, Bowie, Bhuj, Jamnagar and Rajkot until May 10th IST.
According to the Times, the PBKS vs MI match has been transferred from Dharamshala to Mumbai. Before facing the Mumbai Indians, the Punjab king also plans to host the Delhi capital on May 8. The report shows that PBKS and DC games can also be rescheduled.
The Commission on Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has not provided a formal update on this situation. Dharamshala is the second home court of the Punjab Kings in IPL 2025, behind Mullanpur in New Chandigarh. The picturesque stadium will host three IPL 2025 games on May 4, with the Punjab Kings already playing against the Lucknow Super Giant (LSG).
In another Cricbuzz report, it was mentioned that Mumbai Indians canceled their travel plans to Dharamsala through Chandigarh on May 7.
The Punjab Kings and the Mumbai Indians currently have third and fourth places with 15 points and 14 points on the IPL 2025 point table. The Mumbai Indians suffered a loss in the last match against the Gujarat Titans, but the Punjab Kings won the final match against the LSG.
