The Saiva Siddhantham course is popular among HR and CE-Run University

The Saiva Siddhantham course includes studies on the origins and development of Seva religion, various aspects of Seva temple worship, rituals and festivals are the Hindu Religion and Charitable Endowment Foundation (HR&CE) in the state representing the state’s Ministry of Religion and Charitable Endowment (HR&CE).

“We have a six-month certificate program that anyone can join. It is a very popular certificate program, especially among four new universities, in four new colleges offered in Kolathur, Oddanchathiram, Thiruchengodu and Vilathikulam. Since there is no age group and the weekend courses happen on weekends, students will find it convenient,” explained the official source in HR&CE.

All nine universities operated by the department have applied for affiliation with the BA Saiva Siddhantham course. HR&CE Minister PK Sekarbabu said: “Seven of them have obtained affiliation to the course and have begun distributing application forms. In addition to the arts and science courses, students seem to like the course as well.”

Nine universities, including the Polytechnic Institute, have nearly 12,300 seats, while four new colleges appear to be more popular than existing institutions. Four of them run in conceit mode, meaning they are funded by their respective temples, while others are helped.

He added: “For the past four years, we have only followed government regulations on fees. We have not increased the fees for schools and universities since the poorest poor people came here. In the past two years, we have also been able to get companies to recruit on campus.”
