The secret to students is patience, perseverance and confidence.

“All success requires is patience, perseverance, concentration and confidence I can do it,” said Principal Vijayapura of police officer Laxman Nimbargi.

On Tuesday, he was speaking to him after BLDEA Vice President PG Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology held in Vijayapura on Tuesday after presenting the 2025 Indian Education Career Consultation at Vijayapura’s PG Halakatti VP in Vijayapura.

Nimbargi recounts his experience of cracking the civil service exam in his fourth attempt, calling on students not to learn inferior grades in Kannada media.

“Everyone has the ability, and the only ability to stop you from achieving something is lack of confidence. So, confident, renew your skills and have a fighting spirit, it will automatically help you succeed in your life,” he said.

Nimbargi narrates his journey to bringing a Village Boy to a college top hat and serving as an IPS official, talking about the civil servant model.

Mr Nimbargi said that the preparations for the civil service exam were a wonderful journey and could teach a lot. At the same time, he said, it enables people to face any challenges in their lives.

He told students to remember that competitive exams are designed to reject and eliminate principles to choose the best exam. He told them not to be frustrated by failure or rejection. Instead, develop the ability to face rejection or failure, he said, because it will help face any challenges.

He thanked Hindu Publications for organizing the event held in Vijayapura to guide students. He also answered questions from parents and students about competing exams.

Ameen-e-Mudassar, founder and CEO of Cigma India and a member of Karnataka Higher Education Commission, gave a speech on the variety of career options available to students.

He told students that vocational is not a course. He stressed the need to develop multiple skills, and he asked them to keep pace with technological developments as new career choices day after day.

Pediatrician Shruti Sajjan (thinked to be a university) from Blde talks about career choices in the medical science field, including the Allied field, and the prerequisites for choosing that profession, which requires a lot of patience.

Rajesh Hongal, a lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering and KEA representative, introduced the online consultation process and what students and parents should keep in mind when attending the consultation.

Anil Kannur, vice president of BLDEA, of the Department of Computer Science at the School of Engineering and Technology, introduced students to the scope of various engineering courses and what students should keep in mind when choosing engineering.

Chartered Accountant Chinmay R. Janadri talks about career choices in chartered accounting and scope.

Several students and their parents raised questions related to the course and counseling. They returned home after clearing a few questions during the interactive meeting.
