The “Sharbat Jihad” line deepened the new video from the Delhi High Court when Ramdev released a new video about Rooh Afza.

A videotape was published in Patanjali containing derogatory remarks about Hamdard’s Rooh Afza, which apparently violated earlier directives from the Delhi High Court, and Judge Amit Bansal said Ramdev’s actions showed that he “does not control anyone” and “live in his own world”.

The Delhi High Court has again criticized him in the controversy of Rooh Afza by a serious decline in the yoga master Ramdev. A videotape published in Patanjali containing derogatory remarks about Hamdard’s herbal drinks, apparently violating the court’s early directives, said Justice Amit Bansal, the founder of Patanjali, who was the behavior of him “not controlling anyone” and “living in his own world.” The judge who presided over the case said: “In view of the last order, his affidavit, and this video, are the surface of contempt. I will send a notice of contempt now. We are just calling him here.”
The Delhi High Court earlier banned Ramdev from sending out any other public comments, advertisements or videos against India’s Hamdard National Foundation India or its flagship product, Rooh Afza. Ramdev has repeatedly violated court orders and last month he said that Hamdard’s Rooh Afza’s revenue was used to fund the construction of Madrasas and the mosque. Ramdev’s comments sparked anger, prompting Hamdard to seek judicial intervention.
At the hearing on April 22, the court pointed out that the remarks “shocked the court’s conscience” and were “irrefutable.” Warning Patanjali’s legal team, the court warned that strict orders would be passed if corrective measures were not taken immediately. Ramdev assured the court that all relevant online content, including advertising and social media posts, will be cancelled without delay.
Ramdev’s lawyer made a commitment to the court and promised that the Yoga school would avoid further comments and would remove the violation. He was asked to submit an affidavit to the court to confirm the cause.
However, Hamdard’s legal team brought material to the Delhi High Court on Thursday, claiming that Ramdev once again released a videotape containing similarly offensive content. Senior advocates Mukul Rohatgi and Sandeep Sethi appeared on Hamdard, a video that clearly violated early directives and constituted intentional contempt for the court.
