The incident occurred Wednesday in the Naibasti area of ​​Greater Noida, according to a complaint filed by the dog’s owner Shoba Rani. Amit’s 10-year-old son threw a stone at his pet (German Shepherd) as he passed by.
The dog roared at the boy and he fell down. Rani said Amit beat the 4-year-old animal with a stick, tied it to his car and dragged it for 3 kilometers. Rani’s husband told police that the dog was seriously injured and was in serious condition.
According to the complaint, the case against Amit was registered and he was arrested on Friday. Police said his car was also caught. However, Amit claimed the dog bit his son.
