Sunny Deol’s Jaat will clash with Ajith Kumar’s Bad Bad Eugly, Mammootty’s Bazooka and Gippy Grewal’s Akaal on April 10.

After 2023’s record-breaking blockbuster Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is back with the action thriller Jaat. The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on Thursday, April 10, and also stars Randeep Hooda, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, Zarina Wahab and Upendra Limaye in Pivotal Roles.
Jaat is hosted by Telugu director Gopichand Malineni and funded by Mythri filmmakers. Bookings for the movie have already begun on good notes from the National Multi-Store Chain. According to forecasts and several industry reports, the sunny Deol movie could charge Rs 10 crore on opening day. This number may increase with live bookings in a single screen.
Jaat will face pan-Indian level competition as three other films featuring superstars will be released on the same date. Ajith Kumar-starrer Tamil Action Thriller Bad Bad Igly, Mammootty’s Malayalam Suspense Thrilliller Bazooka and Gippy Grewal’s Punjabi-era action drama Akaal also released on April 10 on Baisakhi weekend.
Meanwhile, after Jaat, Sunny Deol’s movies line up for release. The actor will be next in Lahore in 1947, and for this, he worked with Rajkumar Santoshi three decades later. In the 1990s, Sunny and Santoshi gave three blockbusters called Ghayal, Damini and Ghatak. The film, produced by Aamir Khan, will be released later this year.
Deol will start with Border 2 in 2026, a sequel to his 1997 classic blockbuster Border. It is known as India’s largest war movie and will be released on the weekend of Republic Day on January 23 next year. Sunny will be seen playing Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, who will play Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash. Parts 1 and 2 will be released in theaters at Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.
