China and Malaysia stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the South China Sea, issued on Thursday at the end of China’s state visit.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation under the leadership of the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization and the BRICS countries.
Both countries said Gaza is an inalienable part of the Palestinian territory and urged a full and effective implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
During Xi Jinping’s visit, China and Malaysia signed 31 agreements, ranging from trade and tourism to rail transport and agriculture.
Xi Jinping left Malaysia on Thursday morning for Cambodia as part of a trip to Southeast Asia in three countries, including Vietnam.
