Hyderabad: Two flights between the city and London were cancelled Friday after Heathrow Airport closed after a fire broke out at a nearby electrical substation. Counter-terrorism police are investigating the fire.
The airport has closed operations until 11.59 pm on March 21, affecting more than 2.9 passengers worldwide.
British Airways Flight 276 from the city to London at 11.02 am on Saturday, has been cancelled. The airline canceled flight 277 from London to Hyderabad on Friday.
All connection flights from London to Hyderabad are also cancelled through other airports, including those passing through Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Muscat, Doha, Manama, Abu Dhabi and Frankfurt.
