The whole party meeting of the government introduced the “Sindoor Operation”

The government will present the success of Operation Sindoor and its consequences to the party meeting on Thursday (8 May 2025), as tensions between India and Pakistan rose for two weeks after the Pahalgam terrorist attacks on April 22 by senior government staff and opposition leaders.

Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, S. Jaishankar, JP Nadda and Nirmala Sitharaman represent the government, while Congress’ Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge are from Congress, Trinamool Congress and DMK Baalu’s Trinamool sandip Bandyopadhyay sandip bandyopadhyay sandip bandyopadhyay in TRINAMOL CONCAL and DMK’s TR BAALU.

Mr. Singh presided over the meeting.

Other opposition leaders include Ram Gopal Yadav of the Samajwadi Party, Sanjay Singh of the AAP, Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena (UBT), Supriya Sule of the NCP (SP), Sasmit Patra of the BJD and John Brittas of the CPI (M).

JD (U) leader Sanjay Jha, trade union minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan and Aimim MP Asaduddin Owaisi were also part of the meeting.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said the government wants to introduce Operation Sindor to all parties.

In retaliation for the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Indian armed forces conducted missile strikes on nine terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir earlier Wednesday, including Jaish-e-Mohammad stronthold in Bahawalpur, and Muridke, a base in Lashkar-Eee-Taiba.

Two weeks after the Pahalgam massacre in Jamu and Kashmir, the military strike was carried out under Operation Sindoor.

The government had earlier held a party-wide meeting on April 24 to briefly introduce the attack to the leaders.
