On Friday, part of Myanmar and Bangkok hit a magnitude of 7.7 earthquake. According to France France-Presse, the death toll from the Myanmar earthquake has climbed to 1,644, of which 3,408 have been reported injured. A statement from the Zhitian Information team confirmed that at least 139 people were not judged in the absence of a magnitude 7.7 earthquake on Friday. Earlier on Saturday, the junta reported that the death toll had exceeded 1,000.

A woman gave birth to a child on a street in Bangkok after the devastating earthquake, forced to evacuate from the hospital on Friday after a huge tremor occurred in the Myanmar earthquake. The woman gave birth on a stretcher as the hospital staff surrounded her and helped her give birth.

Patients at BNH Hospital and Chulalongkorn King Memorial Hospital were evacuated to the park during the earthquake tremor. Some of them were taken to stretchers and wheelchairs.

During earthquake and evacuation procedures, hospital staff are providing care for patients outside hospital buildings. Videos of babies born after the earthquake chaos are widely shared on social media platforms.

The death toll exceeded 1,000 mark, and more than 2,300 people were injured after two massive earthquakes shocked Myanmar and its neighboring Thailand on Friday afternoon. The tremor of the earthquake felt Bangkok.

In addition to taking life, the earthquake also canceled several buildings, bridges and a monastery.

The 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit at noon, and the central earthquake near Mandalay, Myanmar’s second largest city. Aftershocks followed by one of them measured at the Richter scale up to 6.4 magnitude.
