‘There is some humanity’: Pahargam victim’s wife slams politicians’ ‘religious demand’ for terrorist attacks

Santosh Jagdale’s wife, Pragati Jagdale, a Pune businessman who was killed in a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, asked politicians about what terrorists asked terrorists to demand their religious beliefs before firing.Pragati said: “Please have some humanity. You are one of us too. Although she didn’t name anyone, her remarks targeted Congress and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leaders who openly doubted the survivors’ version of the incident.
Pragati talked about the horror of watching her husband die in front of his family while accepting the news channel. “We want to tell all politicians – don’t make this issue a political issue, don’t work with our emotions. We’ve experienced this horror. We know what was said to us. They talked to us before killing him.” “Everything the terrorists said, we’ve shared it.”
Her remarks came after Maharashtra’s senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar questioned the assailants’ claims that demanded the victim’s religious beliefs before firing the shot. NCP (SP) leaders Anil Deshmukh and Sharad Pawar made similar comments.

Deshmukh said the video did not mention religion, and Pawar questioned the timing of the public narrative. “There were terrorist attacks like Pulvama before, but religion was never mentioned. Why now?” Paval asked.

Pragati keenly replied: “The terrorists did ask about our religion before they started killing. We beg them, fold our hands. We feel their hatred. Those who doubt us should at least think of humanity. She said: “Everyone says the same thing.” One person can lie, not all. Why do you ask us? You are one of us and we consider yourself to be ours. ”
