Movie audiences love sequels, and they are mainly safe bets at the box office. According to the latest reports, Shah Rukh’s classic record will receive a sequel. Shah Rukh Khan has been in Bollywood for 32 years and Indian audiences have made him King Khan. Now, his fans will be surprised to know that his movie is getting a sequel, but that’s the harvest. Shah Rukh Khan won’t be in it.
After Gadar 2’s success, many filmmakers decided to resume their careers by spinning the sequel to the classic blockbuster. In these aspects, director Guddu Dhanoa is now working on a sequel to Deewana (1992). The film marks SRK’s Bollywood debut and stars in Lead as Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti.
Recently, Guddu Dhanoa confirmed that pre-production of Deewana 2 has begun. In an interview with News18, Guddu confirmed the news and said: “Yes, there’s a big happening in Deewana 2. We’re currently in the scripting stage. The movie is still on the floor because my web series will be released before that.” Guddu hasn’t commented on the cast of the movie yet, but is led primarily by different actors. Deewana is a blockbuster that provides the perfect start for SRK’s career.

In addition to Deewana 2, Guddu will also bring Bichhoo 2. “My movie Bichhoo won a lot of love. We were very passionate about making Bichhoo 2, and the same scripts were in it,” Guddu said.
On the work side, Guddu will return to Bollywood along with the action drama Romeo S3. The film marks his return to Bollywood in 18 years. His last director was Sunny Deol’s Big Brother (2007). Romeo S3 plays Thakur Anoop Singh with Palak Tiwari. The film will be released in cinemas on May 16.
