French archaeologists have discovered two ancient swords that are more than 2,300 years old. The weapons were found at the Celtic Iron Age burial site in the central French town of Creuzier-Le-Neuf. It is believed that the sword dates back to the 4th century BC. and was found still inside the sheath (the cover that secures the blade).
One of the swords is decorated with the swastika symbol made of gemstones, which are set as a copper alloy sheath. It is important to note that swastika was used in many ancient cultures, including the Celtics, and was known for its connection with the Nazis as early as the 20th century.
