Weight Loss: New Research on Ozempic Reveals Shocking Impact on Eating Habits

What are Ozempic and Wegovy?
While both Ozempic and Wegovy are produced by the same company, the latter is only authorized to be sold as weight management drugs. Over the years, some studies have shown that semi-talletes may benefit human cardiovascular health.
Drugs such as Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro are glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA). These drugs work by mimicking the body’s natural response to food to reduce appetite and slow down the digestive process.

Research reveals new insights into GLP-1RA
A new study on GLP-1RA drugs provides previous unknown insights into the effects of such drugs on dietary habits. The study was head of the American Director of Agricultural Economics and Agriculture Enterprises. The sample size of the study was 1,955 people. Participants were divided into four groups.
This is the way to study
One group consists of people who actively use GLP-1RA, while the other group includes past users. Meanwhile, the third group consists only of people who plan to take the drug. The last group is composed of people who have neither used GLP-1RA in the past nor intend to use it in the future.
“The results show that consumers currently taking GLP-1RA consume much less calories than other surveyed groups, and reducing the amount of calories added to the ball 1RA may lose about 720 to 990 calories,” ScienceAlert said.
GLP-1RA users show reduced cravings for processed foods
Active users of GLP-1RA reportedly showed the highest trend of reducing processed foods, beef, sugary beverages and refined grains. This is a supplement to the calorie reduction observed by the group individuals. However, their consumption of fruit and leafy vegetables and their intake of water surged.
According to ScienceAlert, active GLP-1RA users report that they still crave processed foods and sugary drinks as they used to, but simply choose not to eat them. It is impossible to determine the reason behind it.

Previous discoveries about GLP-1RA
