Three people died in Nandia Road accident

Kurnur: Three men from Karnataka died in an early morning when their car from Karnataka was overturned near Pododdi in Peapully Mandal, Nandyal district. The deceased were identified as 47-year-old Santosh, 37-year-old Lokesh and 37-year-old Naveen, all from Kenkere village in Tumkur district. The accident happened when they returned after visiting Srisailam and Mahanandi temples. According to police, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to speeding, causing the car to overturn. A man from the Kurnore Government General Hospital was injured and treated. Peapully Deputy Inspector B. Madhusudhan said the bodies were transferred to Kurnool GGH for autopsy and the case was registered.
Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy expressed deep grief over the incident and directed officials to ensure that the injured receive proper medical treatment. Roads and Buildings Minister Janardhan Reddy of British Columbia also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and called for appropriate safety measures.
