Police said: “Two Gujarat police officers were killed on Wednesday while three policemen were in a Kant truck in Dabwali in the Sir Haryana district. Siddhant Jain Dabwali told PTI by phone.
Jain said the police car in Gujarat hit a fixed Kante truck. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Ramesh Kumar, deputy deputy police chief Ramesh Kumar said the injured had been referred to AIIMS in Bathinda from a hospital in Dabwali. The accident occurred on Bharat Mala Road, Sakta Khera, Dabwali, DSP said.
Gujarat Police Department is related to certain cases. The DSP added that the police vehicle had a Gujarat registration number, while the Kante truck’s Punjabi registration number was.
