Odisha government wants to evacuate workers who lack integrity and efficiency; Chief Secy issues orders

Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja said a letter was sent to all department secretaries on Monday asking them to comply with the 2019 General Administration and Pension Complaints Department for Early Retirement of Government servants.
The circular is issued to eliminate officials and employees with questionable integrity and patent inefficiency in public services and ensure administrative efficiency.
In the letter, Ahaja said that the government has notified the government that many departments have not fully followed the cycle.
“The purpose of issuing these instructions is therefore defeated, and officials and employees who clearly lack the standards of integrity and (necessary) efficiency are continuing to work in government work,” it said.
Ahuja recommends that the department secretary ensure that the review meetings are held regularly as directed.
