Tirumala’s special VIP Darshan will resume on Thursday

Nellol: Donation Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy announced that the VIP Break Darshans of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala will continue, according to recommendation letters from members of Congress, MLAS and MLCS.

Speaking to the media, the Minister confirmed that TTD will once again start accepting Darshan’s special recommendation letter.

Starting from May 15, VIP Break Darshan slot machines will be officially restored based on recommendation letters from AP and Telangana’s elected representatives.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the donation department. The main instructions for the meeting were shared at the press conference held on Tuesday at Minister Reddy’s residence.

Addressing the media, the Minister stressed the vision of the Chief Minister to ensure that all temple activities strictly adhere to the traditional Agama Shastra principles. “The CM made it clear that religious rituals must be conducted only under the supervision of qualified Agama scholars and not government employees,” the minister said.

Temples have now been classified based on their annual income, with a total of 22 high-income temples from the 6A category to pay special attention.

CM emphasizes the installation of CCTV cameras in all such temples.

To promote spiritual vitality, Naidu’s major move requires officials to ensure that each temple reflects its sacred atmosphere. Orders were also issued to maintain top-level cleanliness, ensure smooth movement of devotees and avoid any administrative obstacles in temple sites.

One of the cornerstones of this overhaul is the expansion of the Anna Prasadam program, which offers free meals to devotees.

Currently, the program will run in seven major temples and will soon be expanded to 16 temples. CM calls for daily menu preparation and distribution process and strict hygiene adherence to.

Special attention is paid to the development of Srisailam Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the most respected Shaivite pilgrimage centers in India.

Naidu also called for improvement of temple infrastructure and population management.

A high-level meeting is also planned to resolve ongoing land disputes between forests and donation departments in the region.

In addition to the Shaivite temple, the government is committed to developing the main Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Semples to ensure balanced support for the Shaivite and Vaishnavite religious heritage.
