Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin unveiled on Thursday (April 17, 2025) at the AI-Ready Data Center campus of Sify Infinit Space Limited in Siruseri.
This is the largest AI-Ready data center campus in South India with a final capacity of 130 MW. The company said it is also the only data center in India that has an on-site open wired landing station.
SIFY representatives said they were eager to power the Siruseri data center entirely with renewable energy and to manage it using sustainable building management practices.

He said this data center is more than just infrastructure – it is a strategic digital gateway for enterprises and governments aimed at leveraging AI, cloud and high-speed data solutions, saying: “We are honored to support Tamil Nadu’s digital ambitions and be part of the data-driven future in India.”
The company said the facility will be a key driver for AI workloads and digital-first businesses, providing scalable infrastructure and high-performance computing capabilities.
During the inauguration, the Minister of Industry, Investment Promotion and Business TRB Rajaa attended the meeting.
Mr Vegesna said the company is seeking to establish a center in cities such as Coimbatore in media interactions.
The official release of the Tamil Nadu government said the project’s memorandum of understanding was signed during the 2024 Global Investors Conference. During the first phase of the project, the company invested Rs 1,882 crore, providing direct employment opportunities for 1,000 people.
The company said it plans to invest Rs 1.3 crore in Chennai by 2027.
