The Tamil Nadu government has appointed the three-member Vice-Chancellor (VC) Search Committee for Dr. Ambedkar Law University in Tamil Nadu.
Madras High Court retired judge Aruna Jagadeesan was appointed government nominee. S. Sachidhanandham is a former venture capitalist in the Law School, a former professor at the National Law University in New Delhi, and is a group nominee, V. Vijayakumar is also a former VC for Ambedkar Law University and Dr. Bhopal.
A gazette notice signed by the Secretary of Government S. George Alexander states that the committee will meet at university venues and select three names of groups. The selected list, including its biological diseases, will be handed over to the government.
