Tamil Nadu Minister V. Senthilbalaji responded to the ED/CBI charges on Tuesday (8 April 2025) that he accused him of affecting witnesses of the cash scam scam. The Supreme Court asked him to answer his questions clearly whether he believes that he was accused in this case and whether he was appropriately appointed as the government minister.

Mr Senthilbhalaji replied in the affidavit that the Supreme Court did not prohibit the minister. His appointment as Minister does not violate the conditions of bail in the SC judgment of September 26, 2024, nor does it violate any law.
“The complainant Vidhya Kumar has no specific allegations that he, as minister, has exerted influence on any witness. Recall bail is very little.
